I started hunting waterfowl with my dad back in 1975. Been hunting the front range and eastern plains clear back when pheasants were around Loveland and you could duck and goose hunt on Boyd lake in Loveland Colorado. My hope is to share my love of waterfowl hunting and my experience with others, and ultimately just have a great time.
I moved to Wiggins, CO in 2017, and began developing my property for upland game bird hunting. In 2018, I was fortunate enough to have Nick Decarlo, owner of A-Plus Game Birds, become my mentor. He has been running a successful operation since the early 2000s for upland game bird management. Thanks to his generous sharing of knowledge and pure passion and dedication for the sport, we were able to create Windy Acres Game Birds in 2023!

I am Andrew Jones. I am 21 years old and an avid hunter/fisherman. I've been chasing waterfowl for 6 years now and it has become my true passion! When I'm not guiding, I choose to get out in the field and take it all in and learn the birds more and more every hunt to provide you, the clients, with the best waterfowl experiences Colorado has to offer!

Guide
I'm Aaron Gale. I'm 30 years old, avid hunter/fisherman. I grew up hunting with my dad and younger brothers. I've been hunting waterfowl since I was 10 years old. That's 20 years now! I have won multiple Colorado State duck and goose calling contests in Colorado, Utah, Kansas, and Nebraska. I used to travel around with a couple of buddies, driving from contest to contest for years. I placed top 5 in the Junior World Goose Calling contest, and 4th place in the Mason Dixon Regional Duck Calling contest in Easton, Maryland when I was 16 years old. Decoying waterfowl is my true passion; I love sharing my knowledge with others. I LOVE being able to get people their first birds because I know that is something they will remember for the rest of their lives! I take pride in being able to talk to the geese and tell them what they want to hear to bring them down to your face for a shot!
